VPF keeps costs extremely low relative to other foundations because it operates as a membership organisation, backed by an Executive Team with a pro bono Board and Social Venture Advisory Committee:
Board:
Board members are global leaders from venture capital, private equity, management consultancy, industry and the social sector. The Board members act as the investment committee taking the final decisions on the organisations we back. Board members also serve as dedicated Contact Points working alongside our portfolio CEO's to support growth and mutually agreed partnership objectives. This committed long-term support leverages funds invested in the charities.

VPF's Social Venture Advisory Committee consists of leading figures from the social enterprise and charity sectors, whose expertise is a crucial complement to the wide-ranging private sector expertise of VPF's Board and Member network.
